Pele’s Fire is a hot sauce brand and packaging project that required us to create a word mark logo and packaging inspired by our assigned brand name. Pele’s Fire is named after the Hawaiian goddess of fire and volcano’s, and inspired me to make my word mark combining lava rock into a Hawaiian inspired font. The illustration was done to incorporate the word mark and is inspired by the vivid, bold landscape and colors of the Hawaiian islands. My goal was to make Pele’s Fire feel hand crafted, bold, and stand out on the shelf from competitors.
